Main Objectives and Activities

  • Be autonomous to make right technical decisions in the course of its duties. Constantly updating technical knowledge.

Mission

 

The Software Java Support Engineers have ongoing responsibility for an assigned scope of applications of BRED Banque Populaire. This is a highly valued role because we will only be successful if our customers are successful. The role requires substantial software development and diagnostic skills as well as strong customer relationship/communication skills. Support Engineers work closely with their designated customers to maintain fully-functional, high-performing production environments. This includes leading scheduled calls with customers (on a weekly or monthly basis) as well as responding to production issues as they arise.

 

 Activities

 

The Java Support Software Engineer role requires substantial understanding of the enterprise software development life cycle as well as hands-on programming and diagnostic skills. Engineers perform detailed analysis on customer issues to determine root causes and propose solutions. They must have strong ability to work independently on complex issues, and to collaborate efficiently with internal experts to resolve customer issues quickly.

 

  • As a Software Developer, you take responsibility for the quality of work produced and collaborate with other team members in implementing, testing, reviewing, and documenting software
  • You are analyzing, designing, and implementing requirements and maintaining software based on bug reports as well as bug fixing and refactoring
  • Testing new/changed software (unit-/integration and system tests), and participating in software documentation is part of your job
  • You are ensuring that non-functional requirements (usability, performance, etc.) are met and performing root cause analysis of customer issues
  • Coordinate task resolution with other teams in different locations. This includes business team, developer team, QA team and production support team.
  • Learn and understand the functional scope and process of the application.
  • Handle the change management process and follow the deployment in production

This role requires a high degree of independence, ownership and responsibility for customer success. Support engineers are expected to be highly resourceful at responding to and managing customer issues in a timely manner. Mission:

We are looking for a highly motivated QA Analyst with the skills to overlook and participate to QA activity (Design test plans, perform testing, assist Banks UAT) for our Corporate Banking solution for a multi-country banking solution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures to the new Corporate Banking solutions and subsequent new projects and Change requests
  • Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers. (JIRA and TFS)

Mission:

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our QA team and participate to the testing phase of E-Payment Projects. The Quality Assurance officer must be able to perform end-to-end testing, keep the test cases up to date and support our banks during their UAT phases.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate to E-Payment projects: ATM or EDC new features, Credit cards or new cards features, integration to new network (Union Pay, JCB …) or activation of new services (DCC) …

We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to participate to the development & support of BI reports for a multi-site worldwide french banking group.

In this role, the candidate, with a strong SQL background, will be fully involved in the development of data management systems in direct relation with Business Units, being able to analyze and apprehend their needs. Having already participated to BI projects, involving solution implementation and reports development is an asset.
